Some Sightseeing Back in Time

Hosted by "Christine's Home and Travel Adventure"

Back in 2005, I accompanied my daughter's 1st grade class into their Phoenix Zoo field trip. This is one of the mountain faces its tucked into. Driving up, you wouldn't know that there's a zoo anywhere in there until you are almost there!

Do you think these are Texas longhorns?

Here's an ostrich, no he doesn't have his head buried anywhere!

This giraffe came close to where we were and we got to see its long and black tongue!
It was cool!

There are two rhinos there, one right behind the other...
It's almost a mirage, but the smaller rhino is there. The front rhino is bigger than we expected and that horn was really that sharp looking!

These tortoises are almost 100 years old each.
There were two other ones that are much bigger and those were twice as big each!

I hope you enjoyed seeing all the animals and the jog down memory lane in Phoenix, Arizona!

Christine, thanks again for hosting!
HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

  1. Hi Christine, thankyou for the walk down memory lane. We go to this zoo many times during the year and need to get there before the summer heat hits. Isn't it a gorgeous zoo and set in the hills like that? Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Easter too, Char

  5. It looks like an interesting zoo with a different mix of animals than we have at ours. I have an Aunt and Uncle in Phoenix next time I'm there we'll have to check it out! ~ Robyn

HELLO AND WELCOME to this blog dedicated to my obsession of tablescapes, and ONLY TABLESCAPES!
That means that whatever I post will be redirected to tablescapes or you will see tablescapes or the dishes and glassware that I used AND wish to use.
I hope you like you what you see; but you can't do that unless you take the tour- the TABLESCAPE TOUR that's on the side bar! I'd also love to take you on my adventures on finding great dinnerwares to display and use while leaving some serious change in your pocket, so stay a while and see all of my great deals!
Wanna know the reason behind the madness, too? Then make sure to read, Why this blog for my philosophy.
