Good afternoon all! Sorry I'm late, but I couldn't pass up this great event hosted by our dear Kathleen honoring the white gems in our cupboards, hutch, buffet, and in my case, a bookcase. LOL
And since this is a tablescaping blog, I did a tablescape! (Clever idea, ha? Ha?) LOL
I just pulled out all the creamy white dinnerware and white goodies I have and combined them in this serene almost formal cottage table for four. I was imagining dining with another great couple who loves the purity of true love and home cooked meals...
Did you notice how many candles I used, definitely more than three! And that cake stand, from Freecycle, so totally 2nd Time Around.
Though I thoroughly enjoyed creating this table design, I still secretly wish to play with these set of pearly whites someday...
Thanks for hosting, Kathleen, Diane and Tam!
Thanks for peeking!
Hi Dear Chandy! Oh, my, what a lovely table you've set! I'm in love with that gorgeous cake stand with the ruffly edges! Isn't is amazing how pretty an all white table can be. Those future dishes of yours are wonderful! Go get them now! :)

ReplyDeleteI wish someone had been wise enough to tell me to get white dishes when I got married. Instead I picked the most obnoxious, trendy set of dishes that spoke to me. Ugh. When we moved two years ago, I left them behind for the people who bought the house...and went still in another direction. This gorgeous open stock black and red (very Asian) dishes. But my 11 year old is very hard on the dishes she washes. And now...I don't know how to replace them. Again...if only I had white...
ReplyDeleteOh, how pretty! I've never thought to do all white before! I have no white dishes, but they are obviously essentials! I'll go get some. I love your blog! I'll be back often =)
