Seeing Purple... The word today is "PLATES"... (shh..., they are all e-bay photos)
I'm sure everyone's excitedly getting ready for Barb's May 5th Porch and Patio Party like I am!
While I get my patio in shape in the next week, let me share two inspiration ones.

I love how this set blends in with the tile. It looks like the set was pulled up from the tiles!
I love teak especially those with storage capacities!
I can't wait to see my patio all cleaned up!
A BIG THANK YOU TO SUSAN AND DIXIE FOR HOSTING AGAIN TODAY!
TABLESCAPING IDEA: ("Brain" will be doing this with me on the 5th) Revolve your tablescape according to main color of your patio set to create a flawless and professional look. If dark, use it as accent colo. If light, infuse a natural element to bring it to life. Instead of a regular lemonade, do a Pineapple Zinger (pineapple with ginger ale) or any virgin cocktail you like. Have string lantern woven through the umbrella with some tropical garland or strung up above the dining area to add romance and low votives to bring a soft glow to the table.
Chandy..
ReplyDeleteI just love huge patio umbrella's. I'm hoping Mother's Day will bring me a new patio set.. I have some really bad squirrels that decided to destroy my old one that was only 2 years old. I'm thinking that Teak one might work good for me.
Hugs,
Debbie
Love it !
ReplyDeleteHappy Wordless Wednesday to you .
Blessings .
Chandy,
ReplyDeleteThose are great pics, thanks for the inspiration my dear. Cindy
I think I like the Target set the best.
ReplyDeletelove all of your plates. In your header right in the center you have a set of dishes that I really like, do you know the name. It looks like a set I have that belonged to my late MIL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

The 'Yellow Rose of Texas' plate and the bluebonnets were both found on Google search for plates. I don't own them...sorry. If you would like the website I could see if I could find it, no problem.

ReplyDeleteKathy b
Kathy, I know, even the clearance sometimes, I can't afford right now, so I'm still looking! ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat plates!
ReplyDeleteNice plates, my favorite is the white plate w/the purple flowers. I love your inspiration pictures, especially the one from Target, pretty, pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by for a visit. The white rooster you asked about was a gift from my exboyfriend’s mother about 10 years ago. In fact, now that I think about it so was the rooster lamp! She was such a sweet, generous lady.
Happy Thursday, Nicole
Nicole, thank you for telling me.
