For the Foodie Friday potluck today, I feel like South of the Border, but pardon my lack of authenticity. I only wish to capture the flavors of the area.
You are welcome to come and join me.
Wash your hands, pull up a chair, and let's get eatin'!
Thanks, Michael Lee for hosting this awesome potlucks!!! Honestly, where do you the find the time?
First the appetizer... How about some quesadillas with bacon and green onions?
Alright... Before we dive into the rest of the meal, let's clean our palette with some freshly picked blackberries- from the thornless bushes.
There... Our palette's ready for more. How about some... Taco Beef Soup?
Done? How did you like it? I'm glad you enjoyed it. Now let's dive into... Some fresh tacos you make yourself (you washed your hands, right?)
That was truly delicious! I had two myself. How about dessert? Let's go to Hawaii, ok? I'm craving for some macadamia nuts and good chocolate. How about these?
Well? How was everything? Do you still have room in those pants? I hope I didn't make you eat too much. Thank you for coming!!! I'm glad you came to see me! :-D
Til next Friday then... I know you have other goodies to check out at Gollum's. That's where I'm headed! Let's go together... :-D
Next to Asian, the food found in the Southwest is a household favorite! Hmmmm...think we'll have to indulge in some of this fare this weekend! Thanks for the delicious looking reminders.....Nancy
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous idea, macadamia nuts and cupcakes! These are great ideas, and everything looks so appetizing.
ReplyDeleteI was looking on your sidebar at your crystal and china--love it all. Your item of the week is a buy!!!!
The blackberries were what caught my eye! I do so love them and have no access except in the grocery store (where you need a loan to buy enough to fill you up :) Love anything with macadamia nuts too!
ReplyDeleteNancy: Welcome! Yes, Asian and South of the Border fares are big around here, too! Glad to remind ya... :-D
ReplyDeleteGollum: Good morning and thanks! I love that one so much that I "stalked" it...
Susan: Don't they just look so good? We went to Mesquite to find them... They were so good!

Everything looks devine - blackberries are my favorite and would love to grow some!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
Morning, Caroline! Oh, yummy! Now you know how I love Mexican food and yours look so good! Blackberries are one of my favorite berries. As a little girl I grew up in Alabama and these grew wild everywhere. I would just have to cross the street to pick them. I'd fill a pail full and bring home to my mother to make us a blackberry cobbler. Course I'd already eaten a pailful too!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how many dishes I have! ;)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Susan: My tummy rumbled, too!
ReplyDeleteFoley: Thanks! I love it, too!
Shelia: Funny! I love them, too! Wow, I'd love to be able to just pluck them from anywhere I go...
Hi Carolyn! I didn't want you to think I'd forgotten about the award you passed on to me. I'll have it up tomorrow with Pink Saturday!
